Free Cancer Screenings Coming to LaSalle Parish February 18-19

Residents of LaSalle Parish have an important opportunity to take charge of their health this February. The CMAP Cancer Screening Mobile Unit will be in Jena on Feb. 18-19 offering free breast, colorectal, and cervical cancer screenings to eligible individuals.

This initiative is part of the CMAP Cancer Screening Project, a program under The Rapides Foundation’s Healthcare Access Initiative, which aims to provide vital health services to communities across Central Louisiana.

Appointments are required, and individuals must call by Feb. 13 to secure their spot. To schedule, contact Stephanie Heinen, Cancer Screening Specialist, at 1-855-767-3027.

Screenings play a crucial role in early detection and prevention. By offering these services free of charge, CMAP and The Rapides Foundation strive to remove barriers to healthcare and encourage residents to prioritize their well-being.
