The Town of Jena has announced plans for its annual Halloween celebrations, offering safe and family-friendly activities for local children.

The Jena Town Park will host Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open to children ages 0-11 and is designed to provide a fun and secure environment for the community’s youth. Local churches, businesses, groups, individuals, and organizations are invited to sponsor a trunk. Those interested can comment on the town’s announcement or call 992-2148.

In addition, traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating will take place on Friday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Families may begin earlier by visiting relatives and friends before the set hours.

Town officials expressed appreciation to citizens for their past support and look forward to another year of strong community participation.
