LaSalle 4-H is inviting youth in grades 4 through 12 to join its program, which offers workshops, club meetings, and events throughout the year. Enrollment is simple, requiring only updated information each year and a small club fee.
Workshops are held in the Extension Meeting Room at the LaSalle Courthouse, and members can take part in the Shooting Sports Club with archery, rifle, and shotgun disciplines. Monthly in-school meetings also keep students engaged.
In addition to local activities, members have opportunities to attend 4-H camps, livestock shows, and 4-H University, as well as compete at parish, regional, and state levels. These experiences allow youth to travel, meet others with shared interests, and contribute through community service.
The program emphasizes building life skills, including leadership, teamwork, decision-making, self-esteem, and social interaction, helping members prepare for future success.
