LaSalle Parish Schools is currently seeking applicants for a variety of teaching, support staff, and district positions ahead of the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.
District officials announced the hiring initiative this week, encouraging qualified individuals to apply through the Employment section of the LaSalle Parish Schools website.
According to the district, current teaching vacancies include a physical education teacher position at Fellowship Elementary as well as several openings at Jena High School, including English, Financial Math, Biology, and Business teacher positions.
LaSalle High School is also seeking applicants for two math teacher openings.
In addition to classroom positions, the district is hiring for several support and operational roles across the parish. Openings include custodial positions at LaSalle High School and LaSalle Junior High School, a pre-kindergarten paraprofessional at Olla
Elementary School, and substitute special education paraprofessional positions at Nebo Elementary School and LaSalle Junior High School.
Districtwide positions are also available, including two maintenance openings, four child nutrition technician positions, and five bus operator positions within the transportation department.
School officials noted that applicants interested in substitute positions should complete the district’s Substitute Application.
