Jena High School Teacher honored with WoodmenLife “Contribution to Youth Award”

Jena High School is celebrating one of its educators after Civics teacher Candace Hudnall was recognized for her dedication and positive impact on students and youth throughout the community.

School officials announced that Hudnall recently received the prestigious WoodmenLife “Contribution to Youth Award,” honoring her leadership, service, and commitment to helping young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

In a statement shared by Jena High School, administrators praised Hudnall for the influence she continues to have on students each day.

“Your hard work, leadership, and commitment to making a difference do not go unnoticed,” the school stated in its congratulatory message.

Hudnall, who teaches Civics at Jena High School, was recognized for her ongoing efforts to educate, mentor, and encourage students while helping prepare them for responsible citizenship and future success.

School leaders expressed pride in Hudnall’s accomplishment and thanked her for the positive example she sets for students across the campus.

“We are GIANT proud of you and thankful for the positive influence you have on our students each day,” the school added.

The WoodmenLife “Contribution to Youth Award” honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to supporting and improving the lives of young people within their communities.
