LaSalle High School’s Week 1 home football game against the Lakeview Gators has been rescheduled due to a shortage of available high school officials.

According to LaSalle High School Football, the game has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026.

The schedule change was attributed to staffing shortages within the Louisiana High School Officials Association.

The matchup against Lakeview will also serve as LaSalle High School’s annual Senior Night, recognizing senior players and participants during the home game.

Fans and families planning to attend are encouraged to update their schedules to reflect the Thursday game date.
