LaSalle Parish Schools will hold an additional training session for individuals interested in working as substitutes within the school system.

The substitute training will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Old Jena Elementary School.

The session is intended for anyone interested in working as a substitute who was unable to attend the district’s previous training held July 30.

School officials encouraged those who would like to work as substitutes within the LaSalle Parish School System to make plans to attend the upcoming session.

The training is part of the district’s preparations to ensure schools have qualified substitutes available when needed throughout the school year.
