The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Department will host a “Thirst for Change” Blood Drive on Thursday, Aug. 20, offering community members an opportunity to donate blood and support those in need.

The LifeShare Blood Center Blood Mobile will be available from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Donors are encouraged to sign up in advance using the QR code provided on the event flyer.

Organizers are encouraging residents to participate, emphasizing that a single act of donating blood can make a difference in someone’s future.

As an added incentive, those who donate will receive a limited-edition LifeShare water bottle while supplies last.

The blood drive is part of an effort to encourage community members to take action through blood donation and help provide a potentially lifesaving resource to patients in need.
