Rain chances increase through the weekend in LaSalle Parish

LASALLE PARISH, La. — Hot and mostly sunny conditions will begin the week’s extended forecast in LaSalle Parish before rain and thunderstorm chances increase heading into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 95 degrees. Southeast winds will range from 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 70. Winds will remain out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday will remain hot, with a high near 95 and mostly sunny skies. A 30% chance of showers will develop after 1 p.m. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and a low around 71.

Rain chances will increase Friday, with a 50% chance of showers and the possibility of thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny with a high near 93. A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue Friday night, mainly before 1 a.m., with a low around 70.

Saturday will bring a 60% chance of precipitation. Showers will be possible during the morning before becoming likely during the afternoon, when a thunderstorm will also be possible. The high will be near 89 under mostly cloudy skies. Saturday night will remain mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low around 70.

Showers are expected to remain likely Sunday, with thunderstorms also possible. The chance of precipitation will be 60%, with a high near 85. Sunday night will bring a 40% chance of showers and a low around 67.

By Monday, temperatures will be noticeably cooler. Mostly cloudy skies and a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms are forecast, with a high near 81 degrees.
