LaSalle Parish Deputy graduates from Alexandria Police Academy

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office is celebrating a major accomplishment as Deputy Rain Bozeman officially graduated from the Alexandria Police Academy and earned her P.O.S.T. Certification as a police officer.

Sheriff’s Office officials announced the achievement in a social media post Friday morning, praising Deputy Bozeman’s dedication and perseverance throughout the academy process.

“Her hard work and determination has led her to successfully completing this academy and becoming a P.O.S.T. Certified Police Officer,” the department stated.

Joining Bozeman in the graduating class was Jena Police Officer Kyle Robertson, who also completed the academy requirements and earned certification.

Law enforcement leaders and community members alike are recognizing both officers for their commitment to public service and the demanding training required to complete the academy.

P.O.S.T. certification, which stands for Peace Officer Standards and Training, is a significant milestone for law enforcement officers in Louisiana and signifies successful completion of professional law enforcement training standards.

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office extended congratulations to both graduates as they begin the next chapter of their law enforcement careers serving the residents of LaSalle Parish and surrounding communities.
